Cherry Bean Sketchbook
Author Deamer Dunn creates books of sketches that capture everyday life. His latest work features sketches of the customers and employees of the Cherry Bean, a coffee shop in downtown Salinas. This is such a unique way to get an insider’s view of the local culture. Cherry Bean has a variety of customers from political groups, to retired individuals, skateboarders, business people working during lunch, and families stopping by after shopping. This book captures the essence of a burgeoning yet typical downtown community.
The format leaves room to add thoughts on the blank pages accompanying the sketches.
