The National Steinbeck Center is having a book signing by local author Elrond Lawrence.

In addition to the book sale and signing, there will be live music and FREE admission to the Steinbeck Center (normal admission is $10).

Hosted in conjunction with First Fridays Art Walk, an event which features live music and local artists throughout downtown Salinas on the first Friday of each month from 5 to 8 pm.

Author Deamer Dunn will be signing copies of his latest book of sketches at the place that is also the subject of the book - the Cherry Bean Coffee House in downtown Salinas.

The event is part of the First Friday event that is a monthly occurrence in Salinas and features live music, art and light refreshments at participating businesses.
